HELIOS  COTONS

              Health issues

Although Cotons are generally healthy dogs, with very few health problems compared to most other breeds, occasionally, health problems can, and do, occur.  Some problems are totally unpredictable, but others can be tested for in order to lower the risk of your loving companion developing one. Breeders who test their breeding stock regularly are more likely to produce progeny with fewer health problems, therefore protecting and improving the health and vitality of the breed.  Please ask questions about health testing when looking for your lifetime companion.  Click on an area of interest to learn more.
